it's all about how ya say it!

so last weekend i tried and succeeded in using flexi-rods and gel to create a workable cute hair style during this transition period. it's awesome. the boost to my self-esteem has even caused me to start wearing make-up and earrings to work this week. heeeyyyyyyyyy, MILF alert!

in the meantime, the reactions to my hairstyle have basically been the same:

"oh! looks nice!....didja get a perm?"

"hey! looking good! didja decide to get a perm?"

"oh, now that looks good! yougottaperm??"

but this morning, one of the mommies at daycare who wears sisterlocs saw me this morning and said "you didn't get a perm did you???"

"no, girl. i'm still transitioning."

"oh, ok. good. don't get no perm."

thanks. I needed the encouragement.
